In this role, he leads the long steel operations in North America, including the United States, Canada and Mexico. </p><p>Prior to his appointment to executive vice president in June 2015, Mr. Campo served as president of Gerdau Long Steel North America and oversaw U.S. and Canadian operations. He also served as vice president of supply chain, where he was responsible for procurement and processing of metallics, mill and downstream operations, and sales. Before his appointment to vice president of supply chain in 2013, Mr. Campo served as vice president of downstream operations with responsibility for the Reinforcing Steel, Rail Products, Wire Products and Bright Bar businesses. In 2010, he was named vice president and general manager of the Northern fabrication group in downstream, and became part of the business division's executive committee in 2009. He joined Gerdau in 2008 as the vice president of procurement and sales, planning and operations. Prior to Gerdau, he held several positions at General Electric, with growing responsibilities in general management, supply chain, manufacturing and quality in the U.S. and China.</p><p>Mr. Campo holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the California Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science from Rice University.</p>

In this role, he is responsible for all domestic mill sales operations, international commercial sales operations and commercial marketing. </p><p>Mr. Thompson's career in the steel industry spans more than twenty-five years. He first joined Gerdau in 1991, and has held several leadership positions with the company. In 2004, he served as vice president of recycling for Gerdau Long Steel North America. He was later promoted to the commercial vice president.  From 2009 to 2010, he held the global position director of metallics for the Gerdau Group, based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. While in this role, he developed and implemented strategic plans and best practices for 14 countries.  In 2015, Mr. Thompson was promoted to vice president of metallics raw materials and sales and operational planning for Gerdau Long Steel North America. In this role, he oversaw all metallic export and import activity for Gerdau, coordinated Gerdau Long steel melt shop and rolling mill activity, and provided strategic guidance and planning for all mill, scrap and downstream operations within the NAFTA regions Gerdau operates (USA, Canada, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Guatemala). </p><p>Mr. Thompson has a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Toronto. </p>"},{"Titulo":"Rodrigo Souza - Vice President of Finance","Descricao":"<p><img src=\"https://www.gerdau.com/northamerica/en/whoweare/PublishingImages/Pages/leadership-in-north-america/gln/GLN-Rodrigo%20Souza.jpg\" style=\"margin: 5px;\" setheight=\"250\" setwidth=\"200\" hasheight=\"false\" class=\"ms-rtePosition-1\">Rodrigo Souza serves as vice president of finance for Gerdau Long Steel North America. In this role, he is responsible for financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, risk management, expense management and shared services.</p><p>Mr. Souza has more than 20 years of experience working with Gerdau. He began his career in 1991 as a treasury analyst at Gerdau's corporate headquarters in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Six years later, he moved to Canada, where he served as a credit, capital expenditures and mergers and acquisitions analyst at the Gerdau still mill in Cambridge, Ontario. He returned to Brazil in 1998 to serve as the corporate treasurer. In 2008, Rodrigo moved to Spain to work as the chief financial officer for Gerdau's special steel operations. </p><p>Mr. Souza earned a degree in economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre. In this role he oversees all mill operations including safety and health, energy and environment, maintenance and reliability, and quality.  </p><p>Mr. Czarnik began his career in steel as a management trainee with North Star Steel in Monroe, Mich. He held various positions in a wide array of steel functions including melt shop operations, casting and works management prior to entering into a senior management position as a plant manager. Since joining Gerdau in 2004, he has served as vice president and general manager at the steel mill in Wilton, Iowa, and vice president and regional manager of several locations. In his most recent role, Mr. Czarnik served as vice president of people from 2009 to 2016.</p><p>In addition to his extensive steel industry experience, Mr. Czarnik served as an executive officer in the U.S. Army for seven years during which he served in active duty in the first Gulf War. </p><p>Mr. Czarnik received his Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology.</p>"},{"Titulo":"Yuan Wang- Vice President of Supply Chain","Descricao":"<div><p><img src=\"https://www.gerdau.com/northamerica/en/whoweare/PublishingImages/Pages/leadership-in-north-america/gln/GLN-Yuan%20Wang.jpg\" style=\"margin: 5px;\" setheight=\"250\" setwidth=\"200\" hasheight=\"false\" class=\"ms-rtePosition-1\">Yuan Wang serves as vice president of supply chain for Gerdau Long Steel North America.  In this role, he is responsible for metallics and raw materials, sales and operations planning, procurement, logistics, CAPEX engineering, technology, and continuous improvement.  </p><p>Mr. Wang has more than 20 years of experience within Gerdau. His career started in Riograndense, Brazil, in March 1987. He has worked across a broad range of steel operations including scrap, melt shop, casting and refractory operations, and numerous business operation support systems. </p><p>Prior to joining the executive team of Gerdau Long Steel North America, Mr. Wang held various senior level positions including senior process engineer, plant operations manager, vice president and general manager of the company's Manitoba Rolling Mill and executive director &amp; chief representative for Gerdau's special steel operations in Shanghai, China. Gary previously worked at Honeywell Aerospace, Alcoa, and LTV Steel.  </p><p>Gary earned his law degree from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. </p><p>
