Iberê Camargo Foundation presents an unprecedented exhibition of the artist Waltercio Caldas

The exhibit "The Closer Air and other materials" is open for visitation at the Iberê Camargo Foundation of
the renowned Brazilian artist Waltercio Caldas. The exhibition, which brings together 87 works of art
including installations, sculptures, objects, and drawings produced during more than four decades will remain
at the Foundation until October 18. The same exhibit will be shown in 2013 at the Pinacoteca do Estado de
São Paulo, in São Paulo (SP), and at the Blanton Museum of Art, in Texas (USA).
Gerdau, through the Gerdau Institute, is one of the main sponsors of Iberê Camargo Foundation. The
foundation's headquarter is located in Porto Alegre (RS), have become a reference in architecture, and
receives exhibits of contemporary art. Opened in 2008, the building was designed by Álvaro Siza, one of the
most important contemporary architects in the world. In 2002 the project received the Golden Lion Award
at the Venice Architecture Biennale and special merit at the Milan Design Triennale.
