Gerdau implements new brand in Uruguay, Mexico, and Colombia

Press release

Gerdau's plants in Uruguay, Mexico, and Colombia had their brands changed in October. In Uruguay, the
former Gerdau Laisa mill was renamed to be called Gerdau. The Company has operated in the country since
1980, the year it started its internationalization process. In Mexico, the brands Gerdau Sidertul, Aceros
Corsa, and Aceros Ticoman were gathered to create the new brand Gerdau Corsa, becoming a leading
producer of long steel in the country. In Colombia, the brand Diaco was changed to Gerdau Diaco.

These new brand names in the three countries show the Company's effort to make its operations
increasingly integrated and global.
