Gerdau and Junior Achievement Benefit More Than 2 Million Young People in 2012

More than 2 million young people from nine countries were benefited in 2012 with projects in personal development, entrepreneurship, and business offered by Gerdau in partnership with Junior Achievement. The programs were given in 27 states in Brazil as well as in the United States, Uruguay, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, and Mexico, and had the participation of 790 volunteers. The aim
is to awaken an entrepreneurial spirit in young people while they are still in school and prepare them to understand the business world in the future.
