Gerdau among the ten most respected companies in Chile

Press release

Gerdau reached tenth place in the ranking of the Most Respected Companies in Chile, one of the most
important surveys of corporate reputation taken in the country and published by the newspaper La Segunda
in partnership with market research firm Adimark. This was the best placing ever achieved by the Company,
having appeared in the ranking since 2005, and it represents an increase of seven positions in relation to the
previous year. Gerdau is part of the survey's honor roll for the first time, which lists the fifteen best-ranked
companies.
Held since 1995, the survey considers the opinions of the country's main executives. It evaluates nine
aspects for electing the most respected companies with operations in Chile: professionalism & reliability,
integrity & transparency, internationalization, work environment, satisfaction of consumer's needs,
innovation, ability to attract the best professionals, concerns about the environment, and social
responsibility.
