EduAction Program develops educational activities in Uruguay and Peru

Approximately 1,200 students will benefit from the second stage of the EduAction program in Uruguay,
which began in the second half of this year. Promoted by the International Economic and Commercial
Sciences Students Association (AIESEC) in partnership with Gerdau, the program provides undergraduate
students of various nationalities the opportunity to conduct educational activities with public teaching
institutions in countries around the world.
In Peru, the program has been developed since May 2012 and currently benefits about 700 students. The
initiative aims to develop a multicultural vision on global issues such as sustainability, leadership, and
entrepreneurship for students in public schools, developing citizens that are aware of their role as agents of
change in society.
