Gerdau held in the months of November and December 2012 its Christmas campaign, which had the involvement of 2,500 volunteers in 12 countries. Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Spain, United States, and Canada joined this campaign that benefited more than 58,000 people with the donation of 130 tons of food.The organization of the Christmas Campaign and the delivery of products donated to the entities were directed by the Gerdau Institute, which is responsible for the Company's social responsibility policies and guidelines.
