Objectives
To reforest Cerro Calán, one of the largest hills in Santiago.

Results
As a result of a partnership between Gerdau AZA and the NGO RPA Cultiva, 16 thousand native trees were planted in an area of 30 hectares, around Santiago. The trees will produce 1.4 thousand tons of oxygen and remove 360 tons of dust from the atmosphere.
The initiative received the Bicentennial Seal, an acknowledgement issued by the president of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, for its contribution to the development of the country.
