Environmental Education
To encourage employees’ commitment to the environment, Group invests in different environmental education programs. In the last year alone, there were over 19,3 thousand participants and 50,4 thousand training hours, including awareness-raising campaigns, talks and specific courses.
The Company also helps expand environmental awareness in communities where it does business. Through the Gerdau Institute, it develops projects that encourage a sustainable relationship with the environment. Click here to learn more about one of these projects.
